NEW HIRAFU GONDOLA
TOKYU RESORT HAS ANNOUNCED THIER PLANS FOR AN UPGRADE TO RESORT INFRASTRUCTURE
The resort owners/manager of the Grand Hirafu resort in Hirafu, announced 2 exciting new projects scheduled to start this summer and completed in time for start of the 2011/12 Winter season.
In preparation for Grand Hirafu’s 50th anniversary, a number of exciting projects are
slated to begin around the upgrading of the Hirafu gondola.
Upgrades include:
1. An 8-person cabin
2. Speed boost – the whole trip will now be only five minutes
3. Renovated building
A new ski center will be built next door, complete with restaurant, ski school,
rentals, and ski shop. And in addition n new kid’s facility will be constructed in response the demand form the growing family market.
Information relating to the progres of this project will be made available over the coming months.
