Milk Factory

A very popular spot for those of us with a sweet-tooth, or teeth! Using fresh, additive free milk from the famous Takahashi farm, the renowned Niseko Milk Factory produces some of the creamiest, most luxurious ice cream and pastry treats your lucky taste-buds will ever relish. As an added bonus, during the tranquil summer months, the Milk Factory has a large flower farm area which you can walk amongst, and burn of those newly acquired delicious calories amongst some spectacular sun flowers. Also keep an eye out for the rideable horses; great for children. The factory and farm offers uninterrupted views to Mount Youtei, certainly one of the most splendid aspects of the mountain in the area.

Menu: Soft cream, natural yoghurt drinks, cream puff (factory speciality), milk pudding etc.

Niseko Cheese Factory

Handmade cheeses, without any of the nasty additives of store bought cheese, are a dangerous treat; once you’ve bitten into the camembert, your mouth will water for the blue, then the parmesan! And don’t forget the mozzarella! Fortunately, at the Niseko Cheese Factory, you can take away their delectable hand crafted cheeses and savour later. The Cheese Factory also offers unique cheeses for summer; yoghurt flavoured fromage, and soft cream camembert. Ensure you take the opportunity to look in on the cheese making process while you’re there.

Niseko view plaza

The Niseko region is famed for its high quality produce, and at the heart of it all, is the community-spirited Niseko View Plaza where farmers from throughout the region sell their prime produce. Fresh vegetables and flowers daily from the many local farms, where you’ll be pleasantly surprised at just how different it all tastes, smells or looks (and costs!). Don’t miss the wonderful souvenir shop either; a characteristic array of local artisans wares. Highly recommended for picking up some of your favourite vegetables, and cooking a delicious gourmet feast for friends and loved ones back in your accommodation!
