Have an entire mountain to yourself with a guided back country tour. Ski the peaks around the Niseko area, including the stunning Mount Youtei itself! Backcountry Tours are run by the Niseko Adventure Centre (NAC).
Backcountry Tours are available for Group (shared with other guests) or Private (only for you and your friends) bookings.

The NAC staff will collect you from your accommodation 15 minutes before your Backcountry Tour start time.
The tour fee includes backcountry equipment, a light meal and an Onsen to unwind after a big day!
The Niseko Range options: Chisenupuri, Nitonupuri or Iwaonupuri (your guide will choose the best location on the day).
The minimum number of people for the Group Backcountry Tours to run is 2. If less than 2 bookings are received, guests will be offered a refund or reschedule.
The Backcountry Tours may be cancelled due to bad weather - guests will be offered a refund or reschedule.
Please note: the minimum ability level required is Intermediate.
At least one hour of uphill hiking will be required.
The tour may involve using some small local chairlifts, guests will need to carry some small change to pay for these chairs (e.g. Chisenupuri chair, 1 ride: 250yen).
Backcountry equipment ONLY is included in the tour, guests will need to provide their own skis/snowboard and clothing.
Niseko Range tours are available from 1 Dec 2012 to 25 March 2013. Mount Youtei tours are available from 15 Jan 2013 to 25 March 2013.
